The Challenge

Sometimes I get a little carried away. This project is a perfect example. What started as an offhand request for a simple koozie design turned into a full-fledged brand identity. A friend of mine was heading on a family trip and casually asked if I could create a family logo. Naturally, I said yes—but I couldn’t stop at just a logo.

The Solution

I designed an elegant and intricate monogram “M,” embedding layers of storytelling into its form. It wasn’t just a mark—it was a representation of their family’s legacy, personality, and bond. And, as I tend to do, I took things further—developing a full brand identity, complete with a custom pattern to match.

My friend was floored. So much so that her entire family got the logo tattooed on themselves. Safe to say, this might be the highest level of praise my work has ever received
